Lotus Mandala

I've been so busy this week, I haven't stopped! I'm so glad it's the weekend. I've been working and decorating and running errands, I feel exhausted!

I feel like I need some zen time so this weekend I'm just going to relax and take it easy - this little lotus mandala has got me feeling all spiritual and chill.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

So I don't know if you guys watched series one of Indian Summers on Channel 4 but I was totally hooked and series two starts tonight (yay!) It's a period drama based in the 1930's in the foothills of the Himalayas, when British socialites were posted to power during the summer months at the time of the British Raj. The location is beautiful, the storyline is full of suspense and Julie Walters is amazing (as always). It's well worth a watch if you haven't seen it yet...

I'm super excited about series two starting later and I have my whole Sunday evening planned around it - I hope you guys watch and enjoy it!

Have a lovely Sunday.

Life On Mars

I took a walk this morning across some open fields and it was like walking on the surface of Mars! The barren, red land was a bit eerie against the crisp sky and boy was it cold! Back home now and nice and snuggly in my office with a cup of warm tea. Spring is definitely in the air, I saw loads of little snowdrops, so hopefully it should be getting warmer soon.

I hope you're all having a lovely day.

Life On Mars

This post is a little bit late but I've been spending time with my lovely mum today. Just a little something for all the yummy mummies out there on Mothers Day - some lovely coppery lettering and some beautiful peonies - my mums favourite.
